We have had a busy start to the school year and are learning all kinds of new things !
At the beginning of Kindergarten a huge emphasis is put on learning the rules and routines, gaining independence and forming positive peer relationships.
During one of our sharing circles, they were asked if they could share how they could be a friend. These were some of their responses:
"Help them clean up" - Arkan
"I can play with people" - Thalia
"Sharing" - Ethan
"Be nice to everybody" - Liam
"Play together" - Reeham
"I help my teacher get ready for recess" - Emmanuel
"Play nice" - Mikael
"I play with my friends and I'm nice to them" - Mozhdah
"If you find someone lonely ask to play with them" - Maya
"Share the toys together" - Abir
"I can be a good friend if I line up really good" - Peter
We have also been busy learning all about their names and have been practicing different ways that we can represent our name.
